Grace Tewkesbury, M.D.
Dr. Tewkesbury joins Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants as a diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in neuroradiology as well as an integrated 4th year fellowship in abdominal imaging.
She graduated summa cum laude from Duke University in her home state of North Carolina, earned her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine, then completed her radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Tewkesbury has particular interests in trauma imaging, head & neck imaging, pelvic MRI, and brain MRI. She has presented at national neuroradiology meetings and published her work on quantifying traumatic hemothorax volume in the international medical journal Injury.
Outside of radiology, Dr. Tewkesbury enjoys crosswords, visiting national parks, and studying foreign languages. She and her husband live in Washington, DC.
