Dr. Petrovitch lectures at SIR 2011 on ECG-Gated CT

NVRC Diagnostic Radiologist, Dr. Ivan Petrovitch, along with colleagues Drs. Hallett, El-helw, and Gaylord lectured and moderated a hands-on workshop on cardiac and vascular CT and MRI at the Society of Interventional Radiology Annual Scientific Meeting.  Dr. Petrovitch lectured on the use of ECG-gated CT in the evaluation of cardiac and aortic diseases.  The use of advanced imaging techniques, including 3D volume rendering, maximum intensity projections, curved planar reformats, and how they can be used to increase diagnostic accuracy and facilitate improved patient care was reviewed.

Dr. Petrovitch is a dual-fellowship trained radiologist with specialty training in body imaging of the abdomen and pelvis as well as cardiac imaging.  Dr. Petrovitch has cardiovascular imaging interests in coronary CT angiography, thoracic aortic disease, and cardiac MRI.
