Marife Teague, M.D.
Dr. Marife Teague joins Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants as a fellowship-trained breast imager. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and began her career as a contracts specialist with the Department of Defense. She later pursued medicine, graduating from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, and completed a general surgery internship at Medstar Health in Baltimore, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship at the George Washington University Hospital.
Her clinical expertise includes the interpretation of digital mammography, 3D breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and MRI. She also performs image-guided breast biopsies across all three modalities.
She resides in northern Virginia with her husband and children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and discovering different cuisines.
