Christian Malalis, M.D.
Dr. Malalis joins Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants as a diagnostic radiologist with sub-specialty training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His expertise includes endovascular treatment of peripheral artery disease, vascular access including dialysis, biopsies, intra-arterial therapy for liver tumors, percutaneous ablation, renal and hepatobiliary interventions.
Dr. Malalis received his undergraduate degree in biology from Northwestern University and then earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In Chicago, he completed a Transitional Year Internship at Resurrection Medical Center followed by diagnostic radiology residency and interventional radiology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.
Raised in Chicago, Dr. Malalis and his wife currently reside in northern Virginia. He enjoys international travel, biking, hiking, photography and baseball.
