Dr. Kuo publishes article on imaging the upper airway

NVRC Diagnostic Radiologist, Dr. George Kuo, along with colleagues from The Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Radiology have published their research on the role of diagnostic imaging in evaluating the upper airway.  The article is in this month’s Proceedings of the American Thoracic Society, a publication by the American Thoracic Society.  The article reviews the utility of radiography, computed tomography (CT), as well as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), in the evaluation of disease involving the upper airway.

Dr. Kuo is a dual-fellowship trained radiologist who joined NVRC at the beginning of 2011.  Dr. Kuo has interests in imaging of sports related injuries, spine imaging, craniofacial imaging, and traumatic injuries of the brain and spine.
